How to find a settlement on a specific planet

When it comes to finding the perfect settlement to develop in No Man’s Sky, many people will search and survey the surface of their favourite planet being on the lookout for possible groups of inhabitants.

The easiest way, however is the use of a Settlement Planetary Chart.

Step by step:

1. Go to a Space Station and find the Cartographer NPC
2. Buy a “Settlement Planetary Chart”.
3. Land on the surface of the desired planet and exit the spaceship to save the game.
4. Use the Settlement Planetary Chart to find the coordinates to a settlement on your desired planet.


IMPORTANT

*The location of the settlement is random so it’s possible that it’s gonna be on another Planet or even in another System. Reload and re-use Chart until the desired result

*So far, it seems like the only planets that don’t have settlements are Dead and Exotic planets.
