PART 1 - The Black Monks
Episode I - The Mystery that wraps the Temple of the Black Monks

At an Inn of the Formosan Village, in the Tibetan Province. A group of Monks enters the building. Their weapon dont glow any particular, they look normal Monks, come from Song Shan for a pilgrimage. They go to sit at a square-shape table. Their face are hidden.
Waitress: May I serve you something, sirs?
Leader: Rice for all of us, please.
Another: Noodles for me, miss.
Waitress: Alright. Everything will be ready within 5 minutes.

From their hood, the monks are checking everyone's face around. Who seems suspicious in this Inn ? By the dark and cold nights that are in Tibet, you don't pay much attention to the settings around you. But the danger is everywhere, especially in the Formosan Village, where some troubles were reported.
Waitress: Here you are, sirs.

They eat the meals. But when a monk, dressed in black clothes, enters, they stop. They stare at him, he stares at them. They finally stop this tense. Suddenly, a little girl jumps into the Inn.
Girl: Please someone, help us. Bandits have come at our farm. My father has left for War. Please, somebody!

The Monks are about to get up, when the black-clad does.
Monk: I'll help your mother. Show me the way, little girl.

The whole people in the room leave their seat to follow the little girl to her house. When they arrive at the place, they can see the fire at the roof. Too late! But the monk gives a big blow of Chi, which cut the fire.
Monk: Bandits! How dare you attack a lone woman? Get out of there!

They show their face. They are mere bandits, with no peculiar apparent style, just carrying a sword.
Bandit: Who the Hell are you? You're one of those lazy asses from the Temple?
Monk: Don't tarnish the name of the Temple...
Bandit: Ho, mummy, i'm scared. C'mon you moron. I'll show you what us, the Great Bandits of the Road, are worth.

The monk, instead of fighting, just puts his hands one on each other. He attaches a wooden pearls necklace and mumbles something, barely hearable. The guys suddenly stop. They fall on knees, putting a hand on their throat.
Bandit: Sto... stop this, monk.

He continues. His psalming sounds louder each second. The punks let their Swords fall down on the rocky ground.
Bandit: Monk... Will you kill us?

The black-clad interreupts his psalm. The others immediately relax their hands and breathe.
Bandit: We leave... we conceide, monk. You were the stronger.
Monk: Buddha's will prevails. Go away and never return!

They run away like cowards.
Crowd: Thanks Buddha to have given us so strong protectors. Long live the Temple!

They all acclaim. The little girl and her cute mom bow. One after the other, the people quit. The group of Shaolin are eventually alone, standing here.
Shaolin: What a scammer! He wasn't psalming at all.
Shaolin: Yeah. He was just making some sound with his throat.
Shaolin: So all of this was a fake. Those punks were his acolytes.
Leader (COD): The worst is that people here are like duped, believing what they see. Only guys like us, who know the Buddhism from the inside, are able to notice. Now we know why this part of the Tibet is totally under the control of this "Temple".
Shaolin: Like you supposed, Leader, they use the Buddha's image to dupe people.
Shaolin: We shall attack them!
Leader (COD): Surely not. Not now, at least. Can't you see that they've the inhabitants behind us. We would bring huge trouble on Song Shan.
Shaolin: He's right. We would fight the folks by threating the Black Monks.
Shaolin: Let's let this task to the Wu-Tangs.
Shaolin: Alliance would bring us to war too, by making the Wu-Tangs fight. Let's find a better idea.
Leader (COD): At least, now we know how they process. But we cannot prove peaople that they're fake. The only real Kung-Fu was the Chi Ball which cut the flame, and it wasn't nothing.
Shaolin: We have to act!
Leader (COD): I know. We have to spark a motive for us to fight the Black Monks. In the name of Buddha, and for the sake of the Land, we shall start a war with those imposters.

PART 1 - The Black Monks
Episode II - The Kingslayer

COD is sat alone in a room. He's meditating. He's thinking.
COD: An evil is gone, another comes on... The Thunder Emperor got vinquished, the Black Monks start rising. I, the Dragon of Song-Shan, cannot let this go on. The Bamboo Master, this old drunken man from the League, said that he lost his scouts at the entrance of the Temple. I went there myself. The place before the bridge is under the control of the Trainees. Those monks are clever, they keep thei own forces and sacrify the newcomers. I wonder who can be the Mastermind of this Order... And also that bridge is a problem. Noone can cross it, since it doesn't exist. I should go to the Iron Fists, they know how to pass it. But where the heck can they hide? Noone has discovered their lair... It's always been the Iron Fists which came to us.

Suddenly...
Shaolin: Master! You should come now. There is a guy outside the Village which has challenged King Liang. This shall be a great fight.

So the descend the mountain and reach the place. There are many people there. But noone dares to get closer than 30m of the fighters. The main, known from all, is the so-called King Liang. The one which has seized the first part of the Tibet. Noone knows where he comes from, but everybody know how powerfull he's. The other one is a Warrior. He looks to be an Iron Fist, according to high long coat and the Iron arm-protections. His hair is covered with a bandana and he uses a +12 Saber of a new generation. According to this, he was a member of a Black Clan before joining Jun Weiming, because only ex-Blacks are allowed to refine twelve times their weapon.
King Liang: Give us all your name, Iron Fist!
Warrior: Surely not. There's no point of saying his name to someone who's gonna die. what would you do with it?
King Liang: You...
Warrior: I...?
King Liang: You will pay for what you've done.

The King is the first to charge. Indeed, this unknown warrior is said to have defeated the Princess Gaga and her Bodyguards. This late Princess was the beloved daughter of King Liang. But he didnt stop here. Because people was surprised not to see the Prince Xiamen ask the tax, they decided, by fear, to go to him with a handbag of gold gathered with the tax. But when they arrived, they were surprised to see his corpse laying on the gound. The Prince was covered of blood and dust, his Axe stabbed in the earth. The villagers sent a child to warn the King. Now there is no doubt, this Iron Fist was the one to slay the offsprings of the Liang Household. So they both fight each other now.
Warrior: You're stronger than your son... but this won't make me give up.
King Liang: I've heard many stories about your Grand Master Jun Weiming. His poetry is great, and the tales about him are so. In respect of such a noble warrior, I'll let you go if you stop this fight, apologize publicly and leave your Clan.
Warrior: Sorry, but I decline.

COD and his Disciple watch the fight with a great attention.
COD (thinking): I've already seen this face, but where?

They're so focused on th fight that COD didnt even notice that a man, wrapped in a brown cape goes behind him and puts something in his bag. Is it a poison? A snake? An item? No matter for now, this guy isn't clean. He looks suspicious. Now he goes away and doesn't even pay attention to the fight, must it be one of the most unexpected and very spectacular. Now the Warrior scratches the chest of the King with his Saber.
King Liang: Alright, now I'll definitely wont let you escape.

So he takes off his golden robes and shows off his bright armor, cast in pure gold. The Iron Fist Disciple switches his weapon. He now carries unrefined Cry Heaven Gloves, the even-mark of the Jun Weiming's followers. His moves are totally new, never-seen blows given with both the foot and fists. The crowd can easily see that the King cannot manage his opponent. But who the hell is this man?
Warrior: It's time! You're lost, King Liang!!!

With the fangs of his Gloves, the guy stabs the throat of the lord... This one backs down, bleeding. The Sword he wears leaves his hand. He cannot do anything to save his life. He falls on the back, still alive. He desperately tries to catch his fallen weapon. The Iron Fist crushed the fingers of the lord. He dies by bleeding.
Crowd: He... he killed the King Liang. Who the hell is he?
Warrior: You will not know my name. Only my Clansmates can.

The guy wrapped in his brown cape has reached a top. He can see from where he is that the fight is over, and the King down.
Warrior: I am... the Kingslayer!

COD starts to approch him.
COD: Kingslayer, as the Dragon of Shaolin, I have something to ask you.
Warrior: Want me to become a Dragonslayer?
COD: Pardon me, but I don't share your sense of humor. I'm serious.
Warrior: We shall meet again, COD the Dragon of Shaolin, contributor of the Fall of Lei Di.

He suddenly vanished in a colomn of light.
COD: Where has he gone?

From the top where the brown-caped is, a lighty trigram appears on the ground.
Warrior: Thanks for the summoning, mate.
Brown-caped: You're welcome, Tsunno.

PART 1 - The Black Monks
Episode III - The Emissaries of the Iron Fist Clan

Under the light of the full moon, COD, the Dragon of Shaolin, approaches the deep gap above the road to Bai Tribe Village. The gap... that divides the Temple of the Black Monks from the rest the lower plateaus of the Tibet. He's alone. From the distance, he distinguishes two blurry silhouettes which are at the very edge of the gap.
Voice: You came alone. Nice...

COD throws them a kinda little unsealed Scroll.
COD: Who the Hell are you? Why did you make me come here?
Voice: You eventually found my Scroll. I was about to despare.
Voice 2: Relax, Shaolin. We won't stab you in the dark.
COD: Hey! I know you, you're the Kingslayer, I recognize your Saber.
Voice: Just step ahead to us.

COD obeys. One of the two other fellows gets closer. He wears an unknown Sword.
COD: Who are you, you? Show yourself!

COD doesn't know him. But you do. He's the man who was behind COD during the fight between the King Liang and Tsunno.
Man: I can't at the moment. Everything will come in time. I made you come here to speak about this Temple you can see behind me.
COD: The Temple of Black Monks...
Man: Yeah. We, the Iron Fists, have watched them to see how they proceeded. We weren't able to cross those high black walls yet, but we understood how they lured people.
COD: They organise fake crimes and Black Monks come to punish the punks.
Man: Indeed. But I know what bothers you.

Now the brown-caped guy walks, he starts to do a cercle around COD, at a range of 20 meters.
Man: I was just sent here as an emissary to say this to the Dragon of Shaolin. Is Song Shan ready to fight the Black Monks to death, them who spread the Buddha's words?
COD: To me, it's obvious, they have to be erased from the Land.
Man: And to Song Shan?
COD: I've not reported yet.
Man: So do it. If they accept, come back here, I'll find you. If they decline, just go in the North Sea. Some rumors speak about a secret stronghold in the mountain which wasn't discovered when the Clansmen raided the Icy Palace.
COD: But... I've some things to ask you, Iron Fist Disciple. First, how do you c...?

The guy has unsheathed his Sword and holds it above his head, in one hand.
COD: You think you can defy me?
Man (smiling): You fool...

As Tsunno did before, he vanishes in a column of light. By the way, where is Tsunno? COD cannot see any of them. The Kingslayer must have gone away when he was staring at the other one, when he showed his back. He wasn't carefull enough. The light is now beyond the gap. The two silhouettes are there and go away in the snow. The Dragon is not able to follow them and they fade in the silence of the falling flakes.
COD (thinking loud): Shit! How do they master such a thing? Too bad. I should convince the Elder to send troops here. The Bai Tribe Village Inns should be good places for unsuspected garnisons. Let's go.

From the other side, the guys chat.
Tsunno: Make me use a summon for this, you could have crossed on your own.
Man: No! He must still believe that it's uncrossable. To him, we have superpowers.
Tsunno: Haha. I'm glad you are an ex-White Clan Disciple. You'd have been my rival in the Art of speaking, otherwise.
Man: Haha, as the Seniors say: The past doesn't matter for the Iron Fist.
Tsunno: Yeah, now we're good friends. Would have been impossible before. I can't wait to meet him again, it's obvious he'll come back.

PART 1 - The Black Monks
Extra Story - Hope, the Manager of "Divine Thunder" Inn

Beijing, by a Saturday night. A bataillon of Imperial Soldiers arrive in the City.
Captain: Soldiers, spread in the Inns and Taverns and relax tonight. We'll meet tomorrow at the entrance of the Barracks. Come at dawn. Each of you who's late shall be sent in the cold plains of North Sea. Is that clear!?
Soldiers: Yes it is, sir!
Captain: You three, come with me. We'll enter this Inn, the "Divine Thunder".

As usual, the ambiance is hot and very pleasant at the Hope's establishment. But when the Soldiers enter, the noise fades a bit.
Captain: Don't stop. We're clients tonight.

So Hope arrives, escorted with two of his cuties.
Hope: Welcome, milords. Do you know the story of this Inn?
Captain: Nope.
Hope: Wanna hear about it?
Captain: Not so much, I'd better enjoy a nice bottle of wine.
Cutie: Here you are, Sir.

Hope is little disappointed, because he really likes to tell the Story of the Ascending Dragons, which made the fame of his Inn. But it doesn't matter, some other clients have come and they've accepted to listen to him.
Later in the night, after the Captain has ended his bottle, he comes to the manager.

Captain: This Inn is a kind of brothel, ain't it?
Hope: Yeah, clients can take a good moment at my establishment. Just pay, go to a room. A girl is already there.
Captain: What about this one?

He is pointing the cutie next to him, the one who served him his drink.
Hope: Sorry, Milord. This one stays with me, she cannot see the pensionaries.
Captain (drunken): I'm a Captain of the Imperial Army, you won't refuse my ask?
Hope: This Inn has its own rules, it applies to everybody.
Captain (yelling): But I tell you I want her!

Suddenly the whole room is silent. Noone moves, noone speaks, but everyone stares.
Crowd: Will they fight? What's happening? The Manager is facing the Captain. Will he leave his girl to the Captain?
Soldier: Is everything alright, Captain?
Captain: He refuses to give me this girl for the night.
Soldier: Obey they Captain, Manager of "Divine Thunder" Inn.
Hope: To be honest, she's my bodyguard. That's why you can't be with her. Her task is to stay by MY side.
Captain: You dared defy a Captain. You'll regret it. We'll meet tomorrow, and I'll make everything to make you be fired from this brothel. I have some high-ranked friends, you know.

In a state of high anger, a point he's never reached, Hope leaves the big room.
Hope: Continue, we won't let one man wastes the ambiance, yeah?

So he goes upstairs and arrive in his personnal room. The two other girls on the bed, lightly dressed, seem happy to see him.
Girls: Master, what do you expect of us tonight?
Hope: Tonight? Tonight, we'll go away, all five of us.
Four girls: Really? Why?
Hope: I feel bad to say this, but, you should dress up with some warmer clohes. As it seems that I won't be able to manage this Inn, no one will.

His four sexy Bodyguards are ready, fully clothed (for once). Hope opens a great chest, which is at the corner of the room.
Hope: I had kept this to open it at the first anniversary...
Girl: Will you take it up with us?
Hope: Hell no! It shall mark our departure.

He takes a long rope and comes on the balcony. It wraps it around some pillars and throws it beneath.
Hope: Go down, one after the other.
Girl: But it doesnt touch the ground.
Hope: We'll fall in the haystack charret, don't worry.
Girls: Alright. Let's go.

They all slide on the rope. When it's Hope's turn, he stops before falling down in the straw. He takes a matchstick from his inner pocket.
Girl: Master, not the moment to smoke.
Hope: Hehe, watch.

He lights it and ignite the rope. It breaks and he falls down, as he planned to. They go away, and the fire slides up along the rope. It reaches the balcony, the room and... the chest. Now at some meters far, Hope turns around. Boom! The whole higher floor and the roof are now burning and great lights can be seen.
Crowd: A fire! A bomb! Someone has bombed the building, escape.

A bunch of green, pink, yellow, blue lights keep bursting.
Girl: I see, you used the Anniversary fireworks to collapse the Inn.
Hope: Pretty spectacular, ain't it. I'm proud of myself. Now, let's go to Tibet, and reopen the "Divine Thunder" there. I'm sure those plateaus have some pretty jobless girls and waitresses.

* Hope (ImHope) agreed :)

PART 1 - The Black Monks
Episode IV - The Fire lights Again

3 weeks has passed. Somewhere, by night, in the Near Tibet, a Shaolin is running. He crosses the Canyon, the Villages, the plains, to eventually arrive at the entrance of Bai Tribe City. He stops in the village to buy some food and drinks.
COD: This travel from Song Shan straight to here was very tiring...

While he pays, he notices a building under construction. He smiles when he sees the name of it.
COD: Divine Thunder, huh... Reminds me old good memories... Thank you, miss. (thinking) Now let's head to this damn place. The faster I go the better it'll be.

He arrives at the top, near the gap before the Temple of the Black Monks.
COD: I shall wait here. Those two guys will come to me in few days.
Tsunno: Hey, Mr Dragon.
Voice: You guessed we wouldn't be here yet, didn't you?
COD: What the...?
Tsunno: By seeing you right here, don't tell us anything...

Some days later. A patrol of Beggars scoots, under the orders of the Bamboo Master, checks the spot. They're stunned by seeing the corpses of three Luohan Monks and twice as much dead Black Monks. They find among the dead bodies the relic of the highest ranked warrior of Song Shan... The Dragon of Shaolin!
Beggar: This is an Emergency! We must immediately go to the Bamboo Master! The Dragon of Shaolin got kidnapped.

At an unknown place, where some river noise can be heard, COD recovers his senses.
Voice: Finally awaken, my friend?
COD: Who the Hell are you?
Voice: You know who I am. But before this, let me tell you... that the fire lights again.
COD: What do you mean? What fire!?
Voice: This one...

He takes of the piece of fabric that he had on the eyes. COD can easily see tons of people who are moving around. They all wear Cry Heaven Gloves. COD and the brown capped guy wander the base. They go through the forges, where armors are being made by the workers.
COD: The fire of War...

Suddenly, everybody stops and bows. The brown-capped does so.
COD: Jun Weiming!
Jun Weiming: COD, the Dragon of Shaolin. Welcome in my new Base.
COD: What have you done? All this activity here, those armors and weapon traffic. You preparing to take Song Shan over? Was it this that you had in the mind, kidnapping the Dragon of Shaolin to attempt a coup d'etat ?
Jun Weiming: You're in the wrong, COD. As you saw, we prepare a War. And I invite you to marsh aside us. This War is against the Black Monks. Haven't you heard about the mysterious disparition of the highest-ranked warrior of Song Shan in a battle against some Trainees of the Temple? I let you explain him, Kenji.
COD: Kenji! I thought you had...
Kenji: died? Haha, no. I just left my former Clan.
COD: I see...
Kenji: So, with Tsunno, we've imagined a plan to invovle everybody in the War against the impostors. It was little mean but this will show effective. You were just the indispensible piece to achieve the masterpiece, as a Shaolin, as a Leader. I guess that you can forgive us the offense, my friend.
COD: You fooling me.. An offense... Let me laugh. By showing me to the White Clans, you're saviors, heroes!
Jun Weiming: Aren't we?
Iron Fist Disciple: Master Iron Fist, an emissary from the League.
Emissary: As the Black Monks have wagging some hostilities with the Dragon of Shaolin, the White Clans have decided together to attack them at the next full moon. Will you join us, Iron Fist?
Jun Weiming: I'll join the Battle. By the way, could you send this man home? He was found unconscious and got healed by our talents.
Emissary: You... you are...
COD: Yes, I am lucky. May we go?

So they leave. The Fire lights again, a fire of war. The impostors have acted bad, it's time to pay. COD, little angry by the sneaky action of the Iron Fists, cannot deny the fact that they were pretty smart. They've found him the legitim motive to charge the Black Monks and erase their evil magic from the Land.
Tsunno: I can't wait to see my former mates there...
Jun Weiming: Heavenly Demons have lost a great member in the Battle of Beijing. Even if their blame was true, that you brough Lei Di in the Capitale, was it really bad? Now he Thunder Clan is down for years, the Black Temple is on the verge of falling. The Land should thank you for this.
Tsunno: We cannot change the things that were. Now I'm an Iron Fist and I'm decided to show what I'm worth.
Kenji: Very pleasant that the motto of the Clan is "Dark past, bright past, Iron Fist possible future".

At the Tianjin Clan Base.
Wang: I've seen that Temple from a distance few times. If we attack, I advice you to seek Zeus, the Veteran of Liaodong.
Beggar Leader: But, no one knows where he hides. He vanished after the Japanese's Ship sank.
Wang: A Hero cannot ignore the sound of glory that lies behind the Call of War. He'll go out of his retirement.

PART 1 - The Black Monks
Episode V - The Gate is Broken

The sun rises in the new day crimson sky. Everywhere in Tibet, a very loudy step is hearable. Every peasant or hunter who lives in the Tibetan Mountains should stay at home and hide. Sounds like a giant is walking here in the Province, in the heavy silence of the morning. But a courageous boy, not elder than 10, approaches the cliff with his granpa.
Granpa: Come back, Tinam. This is dangerous there. This giant will eat you at once if he sees you.
Boy: I don't matter the danger! I wanna see what a monster looks like.

But the boy is kinda disappointed. No! Not disappointed, he's really surprised. Because the giant whom we can hear the heavy march is actually an army of soldiers.
Boy: C'mon granpa! C'mon. Who are they?
Granpa: Oh Buddha! I could never expect to see this in my lifetime. Seems like the Nine Clans have gathered.

Oh yeah, his old eyes weren't deceiving him. He saw right. The Nine Clans are marching together, in a lone long column of shiny-and-sharpened blades. The Vagabond Army stands in the middle of the line, keeping Blacks and Whites apart. Ten leaders are at the head of the procession. We can obviously see Legend, the heir of The Vagabond. And Jun Weiming, Nangong Hui, Fusen, Wang, COD and Caifen are also leading the valliant warriors.
On their road to the Black Monks Temple, they kill every pouch of resistance. The line seems adamantine, unbreakable, as the blade of a divine warrior. They cross the villages in a unique regular footstep. By hearing this, everybody easily understand that they've made one against an enemy. The Monks, from their high golden tower notice the long silhouette, touched by the crimson sunlight. A great gong is hit by a bearded man. The noise rings out in the whole province. Then drums are being beaten fast.

The procession finally arrives at the broken bridge.

Caifen: Haha. How to do now, Iron Fist?
Wang: Yeah, you didn't want us to cross your land. Show us the way.
Jun Weiming: Tsunno! Kenji! Please enlight our comrades about the magic of the Black Monks.

The two warriors appears to the Leaders.
Caifen (thinking): Tsunno... So you joined Iron Fist banner.
Tsunno: Words would be useless. Here we go!

So him and Kenji run and cross the gap. Everybody in the Army cannot believe his eyes. They're walking in the air.
Kenji: Hoei! You can all come. They only tricked all of us all this time. The magic they sent here, is just an Invisibility spell.
Tsunno: For short, you can all come. But walk in the middle.

From the upper level of the Temple, the Monks see the army cross the bridge, first hesitating then faster and faster. This big amount of foreigners is now surrounding the two doors.
Legend: We came here to kill once for all the Evil that has set in this province.
COD: The tarnished Buddhism will be erase today...
Legend: Don't forget that we are all united against a common enemy.
Jun Weiming: Iron Fists, my Disciples. I shall follow you there into my final battle. Make it great for me!
Iron Fists: Yes, Lord Iron Fist!

So they Chi Kung Artists are all attacking with powerful nukes. Smalls and big combined. They're immediately followed by the black Clans, then the Whites give the final touch. After no more than 30 seconds, the Gate bursts into countless pieces.
Fusen: Your fortress will be your cemetery. Such walls won't let one of you escape from here!
Black Dragon Leader: Enter!

The Black Dragons are the first to run into the huge yard that stands in front of them. They discover many Monks in the streets of this Fortress. Surely more than expected. Orange-clad guys running from here and there. But is such number real or again a cheat spell?
Black Dragon Leader: No matter how many you are, a Black Dragon is worth ten commoners.
Nangong Hui: Focus on the Palace! Their Commander is obviously there.

That's the reason why the stairs are being flooded by a wave of orange jackets guys.
Kenji: Those are no mere trainees. Kill them all recklessly!

The Black Dragons, relying on their overstrength, are charging blindly into the streets. They look like teams of blood-thursty killers compared to the well-organized square formation of the Union of the Noble Families. Those have understood that there ain't only one stair that will lead them to the upper level. So they take the right-side streets.
Indeed, the central passage will soon be a no-man's land. The Black Monks are sending chi balls to counter the Clansmen's nukes and spreading a green liquid poison on the ground. The Chi balls are used to push over the green deadly air to the frontal Clansmen. Any which is now breathing can fall dead, turned into a black-boned skeleton.

Cafien: What the f-?

In order to anihilate the smog, she sends a big fire ball in the smoke. The effect is rather unexpected...
Wang: Oh no!

The smog is a kinda combustible that's now burning. OK, a quarter of the Monks troop is now down. But how many Clansmen? Noone has the mind to think about it for now. What matters in such a situation is to stay alive.
Kenji is helping his Clansmates, aside Thieves. Tenfa is with him.

Tenfa: You hold on, honey?
Kenji: Of course. Let's stay together to protect each other, dear. Would be stupid to die right here.
Tenfa: Yeah. We'll not die here.

But this seems hard to believe, now that a wall is falling down. Surely the result of the boom from the Caifen's fireball into smog.
Thief: They aren't destroying their own buildings, tell me?
Kenji: No idea, but you shoud run, man.

They rush to the next street, in order to avoid the falling black stones of the broken wall. They're all alive, but they're now trapped between two 20meters high walls, rubble and... Black Monks.
Monks: Your Journey stops here, warriors.
Fusen (from behind): Why being so pessimistic? Would you dare repeat what you just said, you 40 years old virgin?

Oh God, the Fusen's party was already nearby and managed to clean the way among the oranges. Him and Kenji achieve the Yang's Flash and behead some priests.
Fusen: Heads will fall down...

The Fortress is a bloodshed. Corpses are laying here all over the floor. A field of cadavers, completed with a death smell all around.
Monk: Grand Master, you should escape by the mountain.
Master of the Black Monks: Escape? Why? We still have "him". He will manage those puppets with his Kung-fu. I retire to my chambers. Please do not interrupt my meditation.
Monk: As you please, Grand Master.

So the door of the Palace closes, and huge white lightning strikes the high monument. The sky suddenly turns from red to black. Clouds are appearing.
Kenji: No way! Lei Di is not able to come back. The Thunder Clan is to remain in the shadow during ten years.
Black Dragon Leader: What's happening? Thunder Lord is said to be dead.

But the Families, led by the proud and charismatic Nangong Hui, are the first to understand that it's not Lei Di. The guy who is exiting the building is a human. His hair is rather long. He wears a yellow and red religious suit. And a big pearls necklace around the chest. even a jade flask at the belt. Bald and holding a spade, he could look like Faxian, the Immoral Monk of Shaolin. But At Beijing, Lei Di was definite: He killed him in the Duel. So who is this guy which fights aside the monks? Because despite his clothes, he has nothing of a priest.
Master of the Black Monks (thinking): Oh yeah, I waited for this. The time to unleash "him". I've raised him myself, melting his blood with magic and teaching him in psalms. If you really wish to take over this stronghold, Clansmen, you'll need good luck against my Chaos Fighter. He is surely worth the best of your Dragon. By killing you, we, the Black Monks Cult, shall enter in the list of the Nine Clans of the Land...

Shinsan's Fanfic-2: The New Dragons of the Nine Clans Empty Re: Shinsan's Fanfic-2: The New Dragons of the Nine Clans

PART 1 - The Black Monks
Episode VI - The Chaos Warrior

Nangong Hui has reached the upper level of the Temple. His undefeated group is now facing an unknown guy under the black sky. None of them speak. The Heavenly Demons arrive by behind.
Caifen: Is this guy the Immoral Monk of Shaolin?
Warrior: I am not. But I am at least as strong as he was.
Nangong Hui: You snooty! You claim yourself a Dragon. So why are you unknown in the Land?
Warrior: Nobleman, there no more dangerous that an unknown and imprevisible enemy. You surely heard about many disparitions of the high-ranked members of the Clans in this Province, didn't you? All of them got captured and their role was to train me, as my dummies. My first enemy was a guy that was Projected Soul.
Caifen: I can't believe a word from you. You just show off and make a doubt settle in our heart to trouble us. But in the end, you're just an obstacle to be crossed.

She sends a fireball and runs forwards. She wanna attack through the fire. But when she cuts down, all are surprised when they hear the metallic noise. The Black Dragons are the next on the plate-forme. When the smoke from the fireball vanishes, they all notice that the Caifen's Saber hasn't penetrate the body of the Warrior, as it should have done. The Warrior catches her by the throat and easily ups her above the ground.
Warrior: And you are a Dragon, huh? Your blow was powerful, really. But I forgot to tell you one thing. My blood has been melt with tons of magical drinks. My body is stronger than iron...
Black Dragons: Ohh, see. He cought the Dragon of Yanmo. Can we kill this man?
Ji-Lang: Nobody is invincible. Even the Thunder Lord fell, and he was the stronger warrior ever seen. I bet we can cut him into pieces. Forwards!

The Black Dragons run all together in order to release Caifen. Before they strike, she uses the power of her reddish mask to overheat her own body. The Warrior's hand loses the strength just a second, but Caifen manages to fall. The Scythes now hit the iron body, on of them manages to cut the soft hand: Ji-Lang. But except him, it's once again the metallic clash. In one circular move, he manages to kick all of them afar.
The last forces of the Black Temple are now coming aside him, retreating to their last strong spot: The Warrior's side.

Fusen: Oh, you already leave us, I just starting to like you.
Jun Weiming: Don't be that amused, Dragon of Wu-Tang. Their close combat style killed some of my Disciples.
Fusen: Some of mine died too, by that bastard technique which breaks the spinal column. But I still guess that our kill counter is higher than them, ain't Black Monks?
Warrior: Shut up! I think I can consider you as faceable enemies now.

He yells to the sky. Thunder is hearable. Legend manages to move through the Clansmen to be on the first line of witnesses.
Legend (to Tenfa): Reminds you of good memories, huh?

Suddenly a huge yellow lightning strikes the Warrior's spot. Some monks are trying to stop the little fire that started on their orange suit or throw their burning hat away, revealing their bald head.
Kenji (thinking): If I hadn't faced Lei Di, this man would be the scariest opponent to me.

The Warrior is now black-bodied, long-blue-haired. He's shirtless, showing his over-muscled chest. Everyone make a step back.
Nangong Hui: Kill the minions, they're the last of their Order!
Thief Captain: Yeah, guys, let's slice the small fry.

Noblemen and Noblewomen of the Murong and Sima Families obey and erase the last Monks. So do the Thieves. But one of them managed to jump above the crowd and prepares his fist for Nangong Hui, who has lost his powers in the Duel of the Nine Dragons. But Nangong Hui, even out of powers, is a clever man. He opens his fan and shows the Monk the picture of a Phoenix and the other side of a Dragon. He trows it above, to the monk's face.
Monk: Your damn Fan won't protect you from my fist!

He eventually hit the ground, breaking his arm on the gray stone.
Nangong Hui: It just masked my move and won't protect you from MY hand. Adieu...

The Head of the Union of the Noble Families performs a rabbit punch with great sleeves moves. It's very graceful, but the loud sound of breaking bones which follows recalls how merciless Nangong Hui is. Jun Weiming nods his former fightmate. Now, the Warrior is alone, standing in front of an whole Army.
Warrior: Come on, all at once. Your life will end with a blow from the Chaos Warrior of Tibet...

A high-level Shaolin moves ahead. The lone enemy loads a Chi ball in his both hands. (Yeah, the lightning awoke his second form and he regained his lost hand). He's about to release his attack. The Shaolin jumps aside in order to avoid. But nothing is sent. The flask on his belt breaks in half. Legend blows on his crossbow, proud of himself.
Legend: I was sure it would affect you...
Warrior: How did you found out, Vagabond?
Legend: The lightning focused here in the end. So a great amount of energy was stored in your flask.
Warrior: You bastard!

He sends a lightning to him, but Legend avoids. However, the crossbow is totally destroyed.
Legend: I see, so now you're slower, even damn fast. This crossbow wasn't as lucky as me, though... Sorry, man. I'll pay you another.

The Iron Fist Disciple whom he took the crossbow from shows a kinda angry face. The Chaos Warrior is now surrounded by the Clansmen.
Jun Weiming: I offer you the unique opportunity to join my ranks and start afresh. Will you fight under my Command?
Warrior: Haha, let me laugh, Iron Fist. I'm too much proud for this. I'll never leave my Master, as you did...

Shinsan's Fanfic-2: The New Dragons of the Nine Clans Empty Re: Shinsan's Fanfic-2: The New Dragons of the Nine Clans

Post  Legend Sat Aug 27, 2011 6:27 pm

PART 1 - The Black Monks
Episode VII - Dragon VS Dragon

He walks to Jun Weiming.
Warrior: To be honest, I want to fight you.
Nangong Hui: This is unfair, Warrior. Jun Weiming cannot use his full strength...
Jun Weiming: I accept the challenge.

Jun Weiming, the glorious fighter who was trained under a Black Clans Master. Who was once enlightened and slayed his Master in a fight-to-death. Who founded his own Clan and chose himself as the first line. Who participated the Duel of the Nine Dragons against Lei Di and survived. He's once again ready to fall for honor and glory.
Warrior: This fight will decide which one of us deserves to be called Dragon and to host the title of Major Clans' Headleader...
Tsunno: Humph. Your Clan is now composed of only two fellows: You and your master. You're the smallest Clan ever, I bet. Kinda funny, ain't it?

Jun Weiming enters Combat mode. His out-of-powers left arm in front, his powerful right arm under the mouth. The Chaos Warrior is motionless, the arms along the body. It's silent, noone moves or speaks. When suddenly...
Tenfa: Go, Iron Fist!

This encouragement to the Jun Weiming from one of his Disciples stirs up the support of every other of the Clan.
Tsunno and Kenji: Go, Iron Fist!
Disciples: Go, Iron Fist! Iron Fist! Iron Fist!

This enbolds Jun Weiming and then he starts the fight. He strikes with the right arms and destroys the wall behind. The other has dodged. But Weiming had not finished his move, because the left leg directly kicks the chin of his opponent by behind, doing once more the metallic sound. He slides on the ground 10 meters along. He gets up performing a flip while sliding.
They fight both feet-and-hands close combat. Sometimes, one receives a punch, sometimes the other one. The Chaos Warrior suddenly takes off his pearl necklace and uses it to hit Jun Weiming. The whole Army of Clansmen seems worried about the issue of the fight. The Chaos Warrior makes circular moves using the pear chain as a flail. His weapon is gaining strength over and over. If it touches its target, this necklace can inflict serious damages. Weiming bends down to avoid the side-coming weapon but receives a seriously strong circular kick in the cheak. He's now the one down.

Warrior: So? The so-legendary Iron Fist is laying on the floor?
Ji-Lang: He doesn't move. He cannot be dead. He survived our former Master, this "Chaos Warrior" is nothing compared to him.
Warrior: Get up, Iron Fist. Remember that your Clan's pride lies in YOU.

The "Dragon of Tibet" jumps up and is about to down his pearl chain on the head of Weiming. But this one was just making as dead. He wasn't of course. So he uses his favorite technique of finishing, but applied to close range. He smashes the ground with his right arm and a little stone quits the ground to go above. The Chaos Warrior destroys it with his foot.
Warrior: The Nobleman did so a min ago, it won't work on me!

But it did. It allowed Iron Fist to get up. The mad fighter gives a pearl chain blow from the right, but Weiming manages to wind it round his out-of-powers left arm. He receives a great pain because of the great chi inside the item. But no matter the pain, he has to bear it for some instants. So he holds it and pull. The Warrior is attracted to him without any possibility to resist. He will not let his deadly weapon go. Jun Weiming's fist glows while it approaches the face.
Warrior: Noooooooooo!!!

The fist touches and passes through the head of the strongest of the Black Temple. His heads bursts, spreading parts of the skull here, parts of the brain there. Even the wall behind is affected by the energy and the fire is stopped by the wind. But the bare left arm of Jun Weiming is injured, showing a huge ecchymose. He lets the prals fall down the ground. His face is ecchymosed too, and bleeding. But he's alive.
Tsunno: Our Master is great! Long live the Iron Fist!
Disciples: Iron Fist!
Some Clansmen: Iron Fist!
Jun Weiming: Wu-Tangs, that's what your former Dragon Lingyun dodged when we fought he and I.
Caifen: So this is the Ultimate Technique ! The iron fist loaded punch...

Legend cuts the little appeasement, recalling all that the battle is not over yet.
Legend: Shakedown the Monks, we need passes to infiltrate this Palace and kill once for all the Black Monks Order.

So everybody opens pockets, shirt and hats in order to find passes to the Palace and its dungeon. However, only red pazzes can be put on the door because the purple and green spots have been accidentaly destroyed durong the Dragons' fight.
Legend: Make parties of 9 fellows.
Tsunno: I have one!
Ji-Lang: So have I!

Many monks held purples.
Kenji: Damn!
Legend: I have a third one! Ok, come on guys.

So he's joined by Tsunno, Ji-Lang, two Nobles, Wang, a Thief Captain, Fusen and a Sacred Flower Mistress. The gate opens.
Caifen: I've another one!

But it's too late, the gate already closes. They'll form the next party. Everything could have come together but they notice a collapse inside.
Kenji: Continue chasing red passes, we'll enter too...

PART 2 - The Dragons' Land
Extra Story - Legend, the Heir of Zhongyuan Langke's Legacy

From Beijing, the roads to Dragon's Gate in Tibet has been secured. Everything is under the Imperial control. While the Clansmen are festing in the Inns of Bai Tribe Village, the Vagabonds have gathered. They were all called to come, none of them could be absent. So the real group of Vagabonds has reached the early Tibetan Province.
Everything that will follow unfolds during night. The Clanless ones are sit around the fire and sit on the cliff. Suddenly, one of them gets up and claps his hands. The utter silence is done.

Zhongyuan Langke: Vagabonds, my friend. I've gathered you here because we have to acclaim our hero. Legend, your Commander, deserves great congratulations...

Eveybody gets up and clap over and over.
Legend: My friends, thank you.
Vagabonds: Legend is our great Commander. It's a honor to have joined your side. Long live the Vagabond Army!
Zhongyuan Langke: Vagabonds. By hearing you saying this, I can be sure that the choice I meditated on wasn't wrong. Legend was the one to recruit all of you right here. He was the one to make you know and attend great battles of our time. That's why I've decided to pass down my title to him. You received my teaching of the Vagabond philosophy, the ancient stories that forged the being times and the Art of Fight. But everything has an end, nothing's everlasting but the True Vagabond Spirit. By joining one of the Major Clan, your personal freedom takes end, by joining the Vagabond Army, nothing bonds you. All of you are those who decided to leave wanderings to master kung-fu. A sole, pure kung-fu, out of allegiance and politique. Following the Leader of the Vagabond Army means follow a person full of leadership, not full of political power. That's why I wisely thought that Legend could become this Master to lead you from now on. What about it, Legend?
Legend: Master, this is a great honor to me to be named to continue your work. That's why I accept that gift...
Zhongyuan Langke: I'm glad to hear it. The sound of retirement has rung for me. I shall go back to my wanderings across the Land.
Vagabonds: But who will take care of the safe of the Conqueror Cave? What if True General Wei were to break the spell?
Zhongyuan Langke: Don't think about it. The Hermit will do it. This old man is not ready to leave our world. He wants to show the Land that some strength remains under his white beard. Shall we drink until we fall asleep drunken?
Vagabonds: Yes, sir!
Zhongyuan Langke: Nine of you, go to the Clans Leaders. Tell them that my time has come. Tell them the name of the new Vagabond Master.
Legend: No! Stay here. This can wait for tomorrow. Attend the fest and drink with us. It's our Master's last meal with us, this is exceptional.

The Vagabond puts up his flask. Legend nods. One after the other, the girls and boys of the Vagabond Army fall on the back, snoring as hell.
Zhongyuan Langke: The great power of alcohol, my successor. It gathers men who don't know each other during the hardships. It appeases the hard goodbyes...

Legend smiles. He's kinda torn between happyness and sadness. He receives a title, a legacy, a responsibility on his shoulders, the supreme gift which could ever been given to him from his master, but he loses a mentor. After several flasks, he's not long to feel going down behind...

[Dream]

He dreams. He dreams about when he was young. When him and his little Band came to Zhongyuan Langke. He dreams about the free-range teaching given by The Vagabond. The great and wise philosophy to the youngsters who seek his guidance. The always-growing band is made of righteous clanless fighters who are in an inner peace. They're not bothered by black ideas because they know that there will always be a helping hand to lead them further, to get them up when in need.

Zhongyuan Langke: Helping is not a shame, nor asking help.
Legend (saying himself in the present dream): This is my task now, to teach this lesson and to become this Hand...

[/Dream]

Suddenly, the Sun rays take the upper hand on the alcohol and the dreamy sleep of the Vagabond. As supposed, Zhongyuan Langke has vanished in the great cloak of the night. Legend can now see what was purposely left to him. His Master wasn't the type to give amounts of gifts. His lone presence around was enough to warm the hearts of all. But those are artefacts from a Master to his most entrusted Disciple, his Second in Command, his Successor, his Heir. So only his hat and a scroll were put next to him.
While he opens the scroll, a letter falls down. He doesn't pay attention to the codex. His hand catches the sheet of paper. It was written with an inked feather.

Letter: "I got my fame from my hat, this is the sign that every True Vagabond can recognize. So this is the Hat of the Leader of them, not mine. Wear it and even dumb, you'll be heard by your faithful followers. Just follow the Instruction of the Scroll, and everything should flow like a peaceful river. Just remember that everything has an end, nothing's everlasting. We shall meet again."

So he throws away his old hat and puts the one of his Master upon his hair, on his blue headband. The red Rising Sun light his great silhouette, kinda stereotype heroic scene you see ;)
Vagabonds: Legend! Legend! Legend!
Legend: You can spread the word to the Nine! (now thinking) So your wanderings have an end. And our seperation is timed. You'll not be disappointed, Master, when Fate will make us meet again...

Shinsan's Fanfic-2: The New Dragons of the Nine Clans Empty Re: Shinsan's Fanfic-2: The New Dragons of the Nine Clans

Post  Legend Sat Aug 27, 2011 7:53 pm

The player Shinsan quitted 9Dragons and the game's community after the last story part, and therefore also stopped to write on his fan-fiction stories until further notice.

Comment by Legend:
I remember how Shinsan PMed me on my YouTube account on May, 2010. It was when I did not play 9Dragons anymore and neither visited Acclaim's game forum, because they banned me permanently on the forum twice and declined my registration on their big (and boring) vagabond event, both without any real reason - At least, it was not written anywhere in Acclaim's Terms of Service/Terms of Use to not write about their unpleasant secrets (on another website, not their own forum) if they might get found out. Shinsan told me in the PM that it was not hard to find me (at last, a person who knows how to search properly!).

However; I did not know this player - But Shinsan asked me if he could implement my vagabond character Legend in his 9Dragons fan-fiction stories. I asked for more informations about it and saw the work he had done already (some parts of his first fanfic). So I've replied him that as long as my character Legend wouldn't act as he never would, it would be all right.

When he published the new story parts with my character in it, I was pleased - He did indeed a good work. I enjoyed it and kept reading the upcoming parts.

Sometime, the game was closed by Acclaim and another publisher took it - GamersFirst. Without Acclaim's ignorance anymore I was certain 9Dragons would become better than it was with Acclaim and I became a forum moderator at GamersFirst to try to help out, so I was in touch with the game again. Shinsan started with his second fanfic, and sometime he sent me at GamersFirst's forums a PM. He told me more or less what would happen at an Extra Story which would be about my character, and asked me what Legend would dream at this moment. I replied him as follow:

»He dreams. He dreams about teaching his young followers. Explaining and answering the answers of the young Vagabonds. Sitting with his disciples at nice and peaceful places, talking and bringing his wisdom and knowledge to those who seek his guidance. Because those Vagabonds who are righteous will always get his helping hand. Helping is not a shame. This is what Zhongyuan Langke taught the land. This is what Legend, The Vagabond's heir, will keep teaching to the land.«

Shinsan "translated" it then to his own style and out came as follow:

»He dreams.
Legend (saying himself in the present dream): This is my task now, to teach this lesson and to become this Hand...«

After this story part, he quitted 9Dragons and sadly did not write anymore on his fanfic. Who knows, maybe he will continue on it one day - I would like to see so, at least.
